Two ways to say no
Read & notice
안 가요 commonly says that someone does not go; 못 가요 commonly says that someone cannot go because of an inability or constraint. The reason and context determine the intended meaning. Learn the contrast through a situation, not by treating the forms as always interchangeable.
In these short patterns, write a space: 안 가요, 못 가요. Other negative constructions exist, and not every predicate uses 안 in exactly the same way. These examples introduce one manageable contrast.
