About this learning space

Hangul Starter is an independent introductory Korean learning website. Lessons use short explanations, spelling diagrams, original situation examples, quizzes and device-local review cards. The interface and lesson explanations are available in ten languages. It is not an official qualification course, a pronunciation assessment or a substitute for workplace training.

Privacy & device storage

This version has no account, advertising scripts, analytics scripts, microphone recording or paid speech service. Completion, quiz review scheduling, last lesson and romanization preferences are stored in localStorage on this browser. They are not synchronized to a server or another device. Your device may clear site data. The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect the site. External reference links open third-party sites with their own policies.

Editorial approach

Historical facts are checked against public institutional references and restated in independently written text. Translations are an initial editorial edition and have not received independent native-speaker review. Korean examples are educational drafts; politeness and meaning vary with context. The review schedule is a simple learning aid, not a scientifically validated measure of learning.
