Your first morning at work
Read & notice
Start with 안녕하세요 when greeting a colleague. For a first introduction, 저는 민수예요 means “I’m Minsu.” The name here is fictional; replace it with your own name and learn the appropriate ending. 잘 부탁드립니다 is a formal expression asking for a good working relationship, not a literal request for one specific favor.
Politeness depends on your relationship, the setting and workplace practice. Begin politely and observe how colleagues address each other. Ask what title to use rather than assuming everyone wants to be called by their first name. These examples are language practice, not a universal rulebook for Korean workplaces.
Hello.
I look forward to working with you.
